It's currently believed an "inverted" RPA (Residential Purchase Agreement) may have been used to facilitate $1 Trillion in Real Estate Transactions in California between 1985 and present. Based on that estimate, all CA  Real Estate Broker's were paid $50-60 BILLION dollars by Sellers for services that  included the provision of seller-biased contracts to Buyers, that robbed buyers of their statutory rights to representation statements prior to forming a contract.

NEVER has there been a civil contract manipulation so large, lasting so long,
with so many "professionals" in on the scam, who ALL should have known better

If you see references this might only apply to Monterey County CA or the Monterey Bay Area Counties, ignore those.

Initially we were told the Monterey County Contract was different than others so we thought the fraud was limited to Monterey County.   As it turned out the "RPA-CA" appears to be one of three standard contracts for the State of CA.  We have now reviewed all of them and all three have the same biases. All three were designed with the input of Real Estate Defense Attorneys  for the sole intention of manipulating 40 Million Consumers to benefit their own industry and brokers.

NOTE:  If you see references to 1994 instead of 1985, it seems someone may have tried a small history re-write after the Jue vs Smiser case precedent of 1994 came out and added light to the fraud.  When I initially learned of CA 1102, the references I saw to it were for 1994, when in fact it became law in 1985.
